Yoshizawa Miku leads a busy life as part of the variety show team at the local TV station "P-Tele". One day, her drama proposal is accepted and she's able to transfer to the drama department. Her joy was short-lived, as the department head then asked "Can we make the protagonist of this proposal a person with disabilities?"
As part of the "Diversity Month" campaign launched by the network, it is said that dramas featuring characters with diverse backgrounds are needed. Despite Miku's concerns, she continues to press on with the interviews, determined to make the plan work somehow.
Eventually, she meets Miyajima Haru, a wheelchair- bound high school student who aspires to be an actress. As a result of being charmed by Haru, she offers her the part, but Haru refuses, saying, "I don't want my disability to be exploited." Unable to give up, Miku visits the rehearsal studio of the theater company that Haru belongs to...
